D17a1 <=> D17a2
HI a friend of mine spun a bearing on his engine and his dad got him a replacement engine, problem is He needed a D17A2, and his dad got a D17A1, the engine is in the car and runs until 400 rpms,since his dad doesnt whant to go thru all the trouble of getting another engine he was wondering if he just switched ECU to a D17A1 one, would the engine work correctly with the D17A2 harnes...
or what would be needed for a Vtec conversion, would the head from his other einge wokr, there seems to be no damage but there are some metal shaving on the head ...
by the way we live down here in Mexico...
for you help thnaks..
