Car moves in NEUTRAL???

Ok, i have an automatic...and when im cruising in my car, i try to rev up on people for the hell of it, so the other day i noticed when i get to over 5 rpms, maybe even 6 that my car tends to get a little push from it, and continues to roll a bit quicker everytime i would REV it..is this normal??? Is this maybe a saftey feature in anyway? I need help on this because Honda dealers are g@y....thanx

I have never heard of that happening, go to your dealer and ask them.

i don't know how much it is rolling but might just be because of the motor moving on the mounts

If you guys actually knew the risks, you wouldn't rev that high with no load on the engine.

That's normal for automatics in neutral while driving, when your revving really high you'll notice the car creep forward a little as if its in gear. Majoirty of my friend's autos, mine, and one's I've driven in the past do the same thing. No prob there!

My Civic will creep forward in neutral too.. sometimes even on a slight uphill!

My 92 Corolla will creep when revved in neutural... but not as much as the Civic
