Cold air intake problem!

Cold air intake problem!

Just wonderin if anyone out there has a problem with sucking up water threw there cold air intake! If so let me know if it make a vibrating noise in your exhaust and what may be the reason for that!

vibrating noise from the exhaust is probably caused by the rubber gasket where you bolt the exhaust to or your exhaust is just like that...

Dude if you were sucking up water for one you would have to be submerged and two your engine would have locked up by now. So unless you have a submarine modification on your ride maybe you should look at the exhaust gaskets for the problem... [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

If you are worried about sucking up water, which you should be, then there is an easy solution. AEM bypass valve!! I have an injen cold air intake which runs right behind the front bumper. I have a xenon body kit which allows direct access to the K&N filter. ANyway, I was sucking up water left and right, which caused a major repair ($2100) for the car. So got the car back, installed the bypass valve ($50) and have had no problems since then.

APS... were you seriously sucking up a lot of water?? what kind of road and weather conditions were you driving it ??just curious...
