I just got back from the dealer and they told me that my struts (2001 coupe EX) are leaking grease. I didn't have them replace them as I didn't feel like getting raped by their charges. What are good aftermarket struts that would be a good upgrade for having a fairly OEM car setup? I was looking around found Tokico HPs that looked like a decent upgrade. Are these what I'm looking for??? Sorry to sound so dumb, I've been away from cars for such a long time that I've forgotten nearly everything. I did a search and coulnd't find anything that directly answered my questions. Also I couldn't find a DIY guide for replacing struts....

i would reccomend tha HPs because i had a 90 crx Si with tha HPs and eibach sportline springs. and i loved it in fact that will b my next mod on my 05. i already have tha eibachs on tha car and am happy with them but i want it to b a lil stiffer.

will stock springs be OK with the HPs? I'm only looking to upgrade what I have to rather than replace my suspension.

umm that im not totally sure about so im not gonna say for sure. i dont see y they wouldnt, but like i said im not a 100% sure. but who ever u buy them from should b able to tell u.

i replaced my oem struts and shocks with the HP. i kept the oem spring and the car rides just as good if not better. you can get them from ebay.

true honda has them on sale, i wanna pick them up but im not sure what they charge for shipping.
