Belt squeeking...?
Belt squeeking...?
I've got an 04 Honda Civic Coupe DX, 14k on it. And every now and then I'll hear a short high pitched squeeking noise coming from the left front of the car. It happens when I leave my driveway sometimes, and today it happened when I downshifted into second...Is it the belt, pretty sure its not the brakes, what should I do, and do you know what it could be?
Maybe...also happened again today when I was engaging the clutch and had it right below the catch point, once I got into gear it stopped.
There was an accident on the side the noise is coming from (before I got it).

they have...
I think it called "belt dressing" or some thing like that.
That you can spray on you belts to stop them from squeeking...
I dont know the name tho. I never used it, my friend did.
