Hey guys, sorry for imposing on you 7th genners, but I need help. I've never had anything but a stock 99 HX with the CVT tran. I'm not a tuner, gearhead, or very knowledgeable in anything car related. I do need help with my transmission though. I've had the CVT transmission since I bought the car, and its given me problems from nearly day 1. I've finally decided that I want to try and put a 5-speed in to replace the hellacious CVT. I've seen dyi instructions and guides somewhere on the internet, but can anyone add any information as far as what I can expect to pay in getting the job done. AGain, i dont know alot about cars, and I live in a "luxury" apartment complex, so I dont think they would like me dropping a transmission into the parking lot. Thanks for any help.
