hey im new to this forum, i just got my 01 civic and after fixing a pile of things it was running ok, now all of the sudden, whenever i come to a stop or rev it once its warm idle drops to about 1800 for a sec then to 1500 for about 4 secs, then will drop down to where it should be, sometimes it seems like it wants to stay at the 1800rpms longer too, i have no check engine light and nothing else seems off, im new to this car so any help would be great, thanks

try cleaning your throttle body and check all of your throttle linkage

done, thats what i just tried, didnt help at all, i cant figure this out, thanks for the reply though, anyone else?

sorry bro.... is there any possibility at all that your tb or throttle cables are hanging on something??? thats about all i could think of

that what it seems like but from what i can see there all fine, im wondering about any of the sensors around the TB, like i said im new to this car so i have no idea whats what, if it could be one of them or not or the one on the airbox? Also, i was wondering, if its running to cool would it do this? its seems like it runs really cool, only about 1/4 up on the temp gauge, or is that normal?
