Rep Power: 0 dont think theres anything to replace here buddy,
Ive had it happen in cold weather, hot weather and everywhere in between.
I dont think theres a real fix. Just try putting the key in the acc position for a second before you start to give the fuel system time to pressurize.
Oh an pumping the gas pedal does nothing, these are fuel injected cars not carb'd so you can stop doing that cuz your only giving the throttle plate a work out

Rep Power: 0 Well I had a similar problem, I have an 02 manual Si (Cdn version). What it ended up being was that my floor mat was sliding behind my clutch. I was freankin out, cause my car was brand new at the time and it was not turning over.
So just check, if it is a manual trans, that there isn't anything impeding the clutch pedal from going completely to the floor/back wall.
NOTE: the mat wasn't that thick at all, maybe half a cm at max, and it was causing it to not start.
