Fuel filter clogged?
When I'm stopped at a red light my car starts ideling rough. Its not the A/C I can turn it off and it still does it. As soon as I press the gas to get the RPMs up it quits. The only engine mod is a short ram intake. I figured it might be a clogged fuel filter but the guys at the local service station said it was inside the tank. I need some help this.
My personal opinion is OEM. They have always been good to me for the first 90k i had them in, and the replacements i've had for 12k so far have been just as good.
if you have an EX, you want the Denso double platinums.
sparkplugs.com offers them at a great price. the dealer usually charges $16 each, they want $7 and change.
If you have an LX, you want the NGK double platinums. the dealer usually charges $17 each, they ask $11 each.
Regardless of which plug you choose, if either.. I think its money well spent. I dont plan on running these plugs as long as i did the first time, probably to 60k this time. so i dont mind spending $32 on plugs every 60k.
