what hose is this?

I just put the intake on and the hose is really close when it goes over and I dont want it to rub or tug at it when it moves. So I ran the hose under the intake instead of over. It appears to work fine, but im curious as to what the hose is for, it's not kinked or even bent its just slightly curved a bit. I just want to make sure I dont have any potential for damaging something.

pics..

TIA!

I can't tell if its the fuel hose or not... if it says "Fuel Hose - Do Not Kink" Right on it, then it is, if not, then its a coolant hose for the heater or a vac hose.

If its resting on the pipe, you're going to want to put some sort of insulation over it. The filter on a stick pipe will get hot enough to melt the hose sleeve. If it is the fuel line, there's a hard line inside of it, but cover it anyways. Exhaust wrap or aluminized heat shield will work.
