Blown rear passenger shock...no suspension mods...under warrenty?
I have the extended warrenty so milage/time isnt an issue...but I have no suspension mods at all..never have. I was getting new tires today when the dude told me to come check my car out..it was on the lift. I looked at the rear passenger shock and it had goo all over it...it was blown. This should be covered under warrenty right...seeing as how only one of them is blown, and there's no mods. Help me out dudes!

Yeah, I'de take it in. If they complain then tell them that your mods have nothing to do with the strut blowing. Tell them that they have to prove that something you have caused this problem. Anyway, I thought you knew this? Newbie!

i would say Honda better replace that blown shock, if they dont i'll goto your dealer and kick their **** till they do
hehe
btw, other than having oil and crap oozing out of your shocks/struts, how would i be able to determine if mine are blown? my ride seems to be getting more and more harsh everytime i drive my car and im wondering if maybe my suspension is f'ed up

i get bad rattling noises from my interior (i think thats where they're coming from anyway) and and my suspension just doesnt seem like its "absorbing" much shock...my whole damn car feels like its shaking with the bumps. with larger bumps and potholes when i go over them (even at like 5 MPH) there is usually a loud thump kinda sound

Hey, if i have suspension mods and I blew my struts, can't i just remove the suspension mods and replace them with stock suspension and take it in the dealer for warranty to pay for new struts?
