Oil pump problems?

Im having problems with oil pressure at idle. Stock in the book says its sopost to be at 10psi. Im at like 2 to 4psi. I took all my oil lines off today and installed a gauge lik ethe honda book shows to test the oil pressure from the back of the block and its at 2 to 4. You think the oil pump is taking a crap? Honda service manuel says its either a dirty filter or the oil pump. Well today I changedthe oil and even bumped up to 10w30 to see if it would make a difference and the same 2 to 4 psi. Anyone had to replace an oil pump yet?

I'd make sure the gauge is hooked up properly before you start troubleshooting the oil pump.

The gauge has worked just fine up till about a week ago when i started noticing it drop in pressure. So maybe it is the gauge dont know will have to test it.
