ive been noticing lately whenever im just at a stop or parked, there is a tapping sound that seems to be coming from below the throttle body. whenever i rev it up, the tapping doesnt get any louder, just stays the same. im just wondering whats causing this. if anyone has a clue, help me out

any chance it could be the fuel injectors? they make a constant tapping (actually more like clicking) sound.

that might be it. i'm gonna take it to Honda this weekend and ask them about it. is this noise normal? or do i have a problem?

You could need a valve fit check adjustment.

Or possibly to have your timing fine tuned.

i have 26K on my ride now, but just recently noticed the noise. it seems to "click" more in cold weather, not just cuz the engine is cold, but even warmed up, it still clicks. but today we had a warm spell and i didn't hear it, popped the hood and checked it out myself, so who knows, maybe its just a winter thing
