2001 Tranny re-call?

i just saw some old forums suggesting there is a recall for 2001 trannies? is this true...i been riding on a f****'ed up one now for the last 15,000 miles, trying to get every last ounce of life out of it....cant afford the $3000+ bill for it to be fixed. My car is pretty far out of warranty...108,000 miles. Anyone have any luck?

i wish. they know its defective clutch pack carrier because most start slipping before 100k miles and they know why. so if you're out of warranty, call up american honda and complain, usually they agree to pay for some of the repair.
