radiator hose wont fit.

radiator hose wont fit.

hey i bought a water adapter for my water gauge sender and its 1 3/16 but the hose is little over an inch. i cant seem to fit it in the radiator hose. just wondering if anyone has a water temp gauge how they put the hose in. it just wont fit. thanx in advance. do i heat it or put it in the frige or what?

well you need to get the adapter thats the right size. Radiator hose isn't overly flexible and the hose ID is 30mm ~1.1" you can try and jam it on, it may go, but chances are the hose will end up cracking from being stretched out like that.
I'm 99.9% sure that greddy sells a 30mm adapter.

man that sucks i already bought an adapter that 1 and 3/16 but the inner hose i like 1 inch so right now trying to sell it or trade for a 1 inch adapter

wow its a really really really tight fit. i actually got it to fit. but its super hard to squeeze it it. for those reading this and planning on buying a water adapter. buy on that is one inch. its just probably 2mm smaller than the inside of the hose but can easily be fitted and snug by using the hose clamps. but thats my experience so yea
