funky smell inside

Exclamation funky smell inside

so.. i bought the car second hand.. sometimes when i turn on the a/c or just the heater alone, i get this freaking funky smell blowing into my face.. i dont know if im just imagining it or if it's true, it smells like doggy poop.. that guy has nasty sweat smell man.. how do i get rid of this problem?

Filters usually cost under $40, they're located behind the glovebox.

ya most 7th gen civics have this problem.

I had a terrible mildew smell when i shut off my a/c and just blow cold air.. it was gross I changed the cabin filters and it went away.

where can i buy the cabin filters and can anyone give me instructions on how to replace them? do i remove the glove box door? and how?

I got them off ebay a year ago, but I don't think the seller sells it anymore...

As for installing look it up in the manual it is really easy.

1. Drop glove box door down by releasing both side hinges
2. Open Plastic air filter box and remove filter (2 of them)
3. Then just toss the new ones in.

2 minutes.
