DIY rattle????

ok i just got some rattles on the sidearm and glovebox fixed by the dealer.....now the rear deck rattles and vibrates, and i hear a little "tap tap click click" on the driver door by the lock...i've done a search for rattle DIY's and haven't had any luck...i know Ronin (i think) has fixed rattles himself along with some others. Could you guys tell me how it is done step by step?...thanks

For the rear deck, try this thread.

If you follow Cjcivic's instructions in that thread, you can also do the exact same thing for the front dash where it meets the windshield, too, if you get rattling there. I've used those pipe insulation tubings in lots of places all over my car. They work great.

As for the door lock, I don't have that rattle, so I'm sure what you can do there.

There was a guy who posten on here about marking off all of the areas that rattle with a post it and bringing it back to the dealer and making them fix it. I think that's a good way to go. The reality is that most rattles come back.

To fix the deck lid rattle i stuff sound insulation in the little hole that you can see from the trunk...it was like 10 bucks from the home depot for 40 feet.... I also did the trunk to stop the rattle my subs made
