Question rim & shaking steering wheel

i got 18inch rims wrapped in Kumho Ecsta ASX 215/35/18 tires installed on my car about 1.5 months ago. A week after i got them on i had my wheels aligned.

what i hadnt noticed is that is that my steering shakes normally going 50mph or more. sometimes it shakes exagerately!
at first i figured it was the roads, plus considering the fact that i have big wheels and thin tires. but then i noticed that it shakes even on baby *** smooth tar roads. ironically it doesnt do it on the concrete highway even going at 90.

so what may be the problem? tire out of balance? defective tire?
anyone else had or have had this issue?

any insite will be of much help, before i waste my money getting my tires balanced again.

Have you checked your lug nuts? When I got my bags installed they forgot to fully tighten one of my tires and it felt exactly how you described it. Start there. You may also need to check the balance again.

If you don't have hubcentric rings with your wheels, get them. If that doesn't stop the vibrations, then take it back to the shop that mounted them and bitch for them to do it over. And make sure they're torqued down to specs with a torque wrench, not just with torque sticks/impact wrench

there are little things in the car called gremlins, that when angered, will throw bananas into the brakes and the engine and other parts to foul them up....

Exclamation cars don't go bad. idiots mess them up.

Guy at the tire shop said the tires are balanced and said my brakes are bad and i need new ones. new brakes on an 05? HA-i just laughed.
I went to a Honda dealership in the next town where a friend of mine now works at. Had them check it out. He said they didnt even balance that sh*t.
i was so pissed. honda guys balanced it for me.
i went back to the tire shop and shoved the receipt in his face. and told him to give me my damn money back.
