car running hot

ok, i just installed an injen SRI and it seems the car is running hot, i was in the drive thru at burger king and car almost peaked.

i turn the car off then turn it back on about 1 min later and it's a little cooler, then when i leave i mash on the gas and it cools down... wtf?

headgasket problem? fans not turning on?

a quick temporary fix is to blast your heater

It'll be a problem with your fan sensor.

how would i go about fixing the fan sensor??

The Fan Switch Is Really Called A Thermo-switch. It Is Connected To The Thermostat Housing.....$40-$50 Part. Takes About 5 Min. To Install.

it has to be the fans, they don't turn on when it starts to overheat...checked all plugs and the coolant level is at max.

so it's just a sensor thing? u got any pics or can give me some instructions, i'm a noob at this stuff.

i got the 100k warranty,should i replace stock crap and take it to the dealership and have them look at it?
