Sticky Shifting

Ok guys this is prolly something simple as hell but i have been getting multiple repsonses.
On my 99 Si coupe the shifting is super sticky sometime. It feels like im lifting a 35 pound weight just to get it in 5th gear. normally it is like this getting it out of gear. I don't know if this is a hydraulic clutch or cable yet but i was told the clutch is going bad if it is hydraulic. If not I was told I need gear box oil or something. let me know what you think.

the clutch still grabs great and the pedal never has any issues. shifting is just sticky as sh**

?

I bought the car with 40 K on it. I put 25 on it. never changed it. I thought you did not have to touch it on a 5 speed....I don't even have a filter for it.

I bought a manual for my car and it turns out I do need to change it - the retard who owned the car before me must have used normal oil instead of tranny fluid - I am gonna change it today

I had a hard time getting my integra into gear. It turns out that from me redlining it every day it shot one of the springs out of the clutch disc stopping the pressure plate from doing its job making it so hard to shift that i broke my edlebrock shifter in half trying to force it into gear. BTW do not put tranny fluid in your manual tranny use regular 10w30 motor oil.
