Popping Noise from front of right rear lower control arm
Weird popping noise, sporaidic, I've isolated it to the front of the right rear lower control arm. It's odd, it only happens every 4th or 5th impact, and almost sounds like a bolt is stretching. Any experience this before? Car is a '01 LX coupe, lowered about 2" F/R on Tein SS. The noise is definately not coming from the coilovers, I had the wheel off, and when kicking the drum, the noise clearly comes from the front of the control arm. Is this a sign of failed bushings in the control arm? I'm going to take the bolts out, lube them, and retorque to be sure, but I didn't have the time today. Any input/speculations welcome.
