Window tint issues

I got my windows tinted about 3 years ago. About a few months ago, I noticed that the top edge, on the passenger window, was starting to peel back a little. Everytime I roll the window up, the edge catches and pulls it down a little. Now, I noticed that the bottom, just below the top edge of the door panel, is also starting to raise up.

I think I remeber the guy telling me that the tint was gauranteed. I haven't contacted the shop, since I got the tint installed.

Does a lifetime gaurantee sound like a reality?

Also, I noticed that at the top of the rear window, the tint appears to be dry and cracking. I have been running my defroster in the winter, which I was just informed is the worst thing you can do for tint. I specifically asked the installer if it would effect the tint and he said it was ok to run the defroster.

What should I do?

i use the defroster too and everyone i know says its fine. you kinda have to sometimes. i dont think that would affect it. but keep in mind rear tint can't be removed without pulling off the defrost lines. so you'll have a messed up window. the other windows are easy to change, just take it back and say its peeling. almost any tint place has lifetime warranty (unless they go out of business).

yeah defroster shouldn't do that...If it was done professionally you should go back and have them redo it. gearbox is right, unless they go out of business...

My tint in on the rear windshield has bubbled in some areas and I read that it was lifetime warrenty. I went to the shop and they said the tint is lifetime but the labour is not so I would still have to pay the labour to replace it...
