what did i snap??

Guys,

I'm putting my car back to stock to sell it. When I was taking my steering wheel off in the past, I accidently yanked too hard and snapped a harness.

What is this? I don't think its for the air bags. I'm assuming it's for the cruise control. How can I fix it?

Would the airbags work after I reset my SRS light that has been on for the past 2 years?

Thanks

Yeah, you snapped the wire for your cruise control that is on the spinning spool.

Looks to be a ribbon cable. Where is the clamping connector? Cut it square and put the end back on. If all else fails you can rebuild it with pieces from www.newarkinone.com
