Gas tank gauge problem
Hi guys,
I have this weird thing with gas gauge:
when car is cold it would show me a quarter full, 20 minutes later it would show close to half a tank
. Any idea what might cause that?
Plus my mpg is higher than expected, i hoped for at least 250 per tank
i'm only getting about 200-220 per tank in the city.
it's a 2002 EX coupe, manual.

warranty if you have it, otherwise gotta pay. they need to open the fuel tank assembly so expect gas to spill under the rear seat. ya its very common. same happened to me and altho its not really perfect, at least it doesn't read below empty when there's 5 gallons left in the tank.
