rpms stuck at 2k.

So I was driving home tonight and suddenly my engine wont drop below 2k at idle. I dont know what the hell the problem is. It is raining and the streets are wet. I have a CAI with no bypass valve, so that might be the problem. Not exactly sure tho.....need some help.

throttle cable got stuck on something, tps is screwed up, aic valve is clogged, etc. The engine light has to be on so just scan it and see what the problem is....

if you sucked up water in the engine, your car wouldnt be running.

go scan the ECU. you may have logged a new cell due to a different problem.

Toaster is on a distinguished road
Had a problem similar to this after washing a car with no mods. Check your battery cables. I pulled both mine and cleaned them and put them back on. Had not had the problem since. Do not know if it was dirt posts or if it just needed to be reset although I tried just pulling the fuse for the ECU and it did not help. Atleast it wont cost you anything even if it does not work.
