well my car has been working perfectly since the problem with the TDC sensor was replaced and by the way gas mileage is amazing!!! car is back to stock besides my exhaust, i was coming back from my friends and i was accelerating hard and around 5k it started sputtering then kept tryin to go,i thought i was imagining things but then i kept accelerating hard WOT and same little sputter, i did it a couple of more times and then one time i did it the CEL was blinking while i was accelerating, first thing that came to mind was a misfire i also replaced my spark plugs to the stock ones(iridium were the old ones) like 1 week ago....

you have water in your intake and manifold....does your car sputter from like 2500rpm...to about 3500rpm..while backfiring...and sounding bad ***?.....lol..

i washed mine..and got water in it...how dumb of me...but it sounded like a damn STi....lol....some guy in a impreza asked me what motor do i have....and i said "yours" lol..

just drive it for about 45 mins to an hour straight....water should burnout....and be fine again....

and the reason your check engine light was blinkin...was it realized holy ****...i have water in my manifold....

try it.....if you ever put sea foam....or just plain water in the manifold to clean it.....the check engine light blinks...

dont know where i wouldve gotten water from because it hasnt rained here in a while and i havent washed my car recently...but im gonna check out my car now and drive it around see what happens thanks....
