sounds like the fuel pump went out. go out to the car and turn the key to the II position and see if you can hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds. if not you may have a failed fuel pump or bad fuse or relay. First things first, check the fuses, if those are good, check for fuel pressure and spark. you need both to turn over the engine. along with compression.

...i wouldn't rule out battery just yet...
has it been cold the past couple days?
how old is the battery?
i found that the lights will still be working...even the horn sounds strong...but if its cold...an older battery won't have the juice to start it.
my gf's bro has a wrx that wouldn't start....lights were all good horn was loud...but the battery was the original from 2000(i think)...he replaced it and it starts better.

try to jump it and if it starts its prob the battery...if not well....its prob something more expensive...
....also this is what i learned from workin on quite a few bikes...batteries should be at around 12.5-12.8 volts to be at full charge. a battery at 12.2 v may mean a bad charging system or the battery just won't hold a charge anymore...i think this applies to all 12v batteries....

If it cranks, but wont start, then the battery is fine. If it doesnt crank over, then I would have the battery tested.

is ur car making any funny sounds when u turn the key>/

My starter went out 3 times since i had it, this sounds like the same prob i was haviing.

Get ur battery tested first if it isnt the battery its gotta be the starter

thats my two cents.

Cheaper thing first. Starter is only like 150 and like 30 minutes to put in

mine didnt make a sound when i turned the key.

good luck its probally something simple.

i would say the battery, you said it turns over but not COMPLETELY... that sounds like an electrical problem to me
