Speedometer "freeze"?
ok so i was driving around town today and i looked down to notice my speedo needle just drop and read zero....this went on for about 1/4- 1/2 a mile until i stopped at a redlight...then as the light turned green, and i began to accelerate, the speedometer apparently worked again....weird?
this happened to anyone else? or know why it may have happened?

whoa it usually only does that for a second and pops back up. they use magnets so maybe something weird happened. if it doesn't happen often its not worth worrying about.
If it becomes more frequent then you would need to change the VSS sensor. It happened to me once in my 92 Legend and I ended up racking two miles while waiting at a stop light because the speedometer was stuck at 80. And if you have an auto then your "D" light will blink.
