How to Tighten Door?
I have a 2004 Civic Coupe. At speeds of approx 70 MPH and above I get a slight wind whistle coming from the driver's door. Not real loud but sometimes annoying. The door seals are in good shape. No rips, tears, and fits evenly. So I figured I would adjust the door slightly so it fits tighter. Problem is...there are no adjustments. I loosened the strike plate on the body but there's no provision to slide it back and forth. Same for latch hardware on the door. So how do you adjust the door to make it fit tighter?

Well two options come to mind, first there are two little rubber bump stoppers ***** on the left side edge of the door (if your looking at the door from inside, located in the middle and the bottom corner) you can twist them to the left to make the door tight. 2nd, you can also try losening the door latch and moving inwards a little so when you close the door, it'll pull the door closer to the door jam. Thats all for now hope this helps.
If the door gaps look good and you have just a wind lead at speed around the window frame, just roll down your window and put your knee around the latch against the trim panel and tug the window frame toward you. It will cause a tighter fit against the door opening.
