i got an issue with my trans. ok i put the car in 5th gear, then after a few seconds of even light acceleration it pops outta gear. so my friend said to hold it there. i did that and it worked for a bit. then i gotta out of my car. so i am back in it hours later. same deal i hold the shifter in place in 5th gear, but this time it grinds. i cant even keep it in 5th now. it will grind if i try...or it just pops out if i put it in gear. question is, is that my snycro(i dont know how to spell it)? i cant think of what else it could be. any input would be of help. weird thing is one day about 3 or 4 months ago this happened. but after that day it was fine. didnt happen again til today.
