Oil in Intake
I took my V2 off and put my stock box back on. I noticed thick black greasy oil like substance coming up from the intake mani through the throttle body and glazed on the inside of the intake. Not alot but enough for me to ask the question of wtf is it doing there.
My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

AEM V2 intake, they use a oil base filter, like K&N. That film is a mix of oil from that filter and other crap. Use some carb cleaner and clean it off, make sure the car is running while you do that. It's normal for people with intake systems to have this.

youre using way too much oil when you re-oil your filter. It's similar to how ppl with WRX's mess up their MAF sensor. As jrfish said, use some cleaner. member gearbox would have a good idea about exactly which cleaner to use.

Blow-by usually comes from the rings, through the crankcase ventilation system.
So not the head, the rings. All engines have *some* blow-by. If they didn't, the rings would be too tight and not getting enough oil aaaand seize up. I would expect more than normal blow-by at 120mph. Just keep an eye on it. If you get a LOT of oil and soot from normal driving, then the rings are worn.

It's not a lot now but in the spring im gonna fix it before it causes problems. I'll keep an eye on it. In the meantime what can i use to clean it.
it could be as simple as replacing your pcv valve. in the meantime i would use any light grade degreaser (ie simple green, 409, power orange...) and some paper towels, but be careful not to leave any debris in there.

A catch can would also reduce the problem, but not necessarily solve it. Some blow by is normal, thats why that hose is there to recirc the junk back into the engine, but enough to cause an oil slick sounds excessive to me.
