Idle problems after DC sports tcs install

Yo, what's going on... So I installed my exhaust today, and everything seemed great, so I drove home. I cold started my car 4hr's later, and had trouble turning it over. After I started it the idle hopped around for a while and hung around 900 for a while but then dropped back to the normal 700 range. When I drive and then stop though, the idle hangs around 100 for about 5 seconds and then drops back to normal...

I reset the ecu, and went through the idle learn, and that didn't do a damn thing.

Is it an exhaust leak, do i have to readjust the idle manually, or is a sensor?...

wow, thanks for bearing with me.

interesting! cause my car is having problems too. but i'm still not clear what your car is doing. the rpm is going up and down by itself? its normal for the car to idle higher before it warms up.

Yeah, I saw that, but didn't really want to sift through 5 pages for a possible answer. Anyway, It's when the car is warm that the rpms are sticking at 1000 for about 4 or 5 seconds, then dropping to normal. It goes up and down to... but nothing major, and not very often.

ah okay mine is actually a misfire in the cylinder. yours sounds like something simple. did you do the throttle cable tightening diy? sticking rpms will happen if you did it too tight. but if the idle is fluctuating, it could be a bad tps or iac valve.

Just loosened the slack on the throttle cable, and it seems to have solved the problem... thanks gearbox
