secondary o2 sensor

HI, I have install a megan racing catalyctic converter.
I tried to use an O2 simulator but I think it does not work.
My question is how is the engine reactine to a missing secondary o2 sensor or to my originial o2 sensor pluged in other than telling me that there is a problem with my 3way catalyctic converter?

Since there is still the 1rst o2 sensor that checks the air/fuel ratio.. can the 2nd o2 sensor still mess up the engine with the air/fuel ratio?

Since it is starting to get cold here and the winter is coming I am thinking of just putting my original cat and maybee experiment next summer.

thanks for any hints

Simon

nope the second sensor has no function in engine operation. only the first one determines a/f and ecu feedback. just find a mil eliminator that works. members here have em. its only important because if something else on your car goes wrong, you won't notice (since the cel light is already on).

its malfunction (engine light) eliminator. it tells the ecu everything is okay with the cat.

I wired it correctly, I found out the groud, heater groud, signal, etc.. it just does not seem to work.

Mine does not look like the one on ebay. It looks like a yellowish plastic cube with 3 wires coming out. It was suppose to flash when working properly but it does not.

anyway I order one from ebay for 12 that looks like the one ine the link
