Fuel Gauge/low fuel light

I have recently been seeing that my low fuel light comes on when the gauge says that the tank is around half way. I donno if its the guage or the light, has anyone else have this problem?

I do as well, no apparent fix for it except for replacing parts... which ones? I have no clue.

learned to drive with a 91 Cherokee with a fuel gauge that was controlled by gears and some nylon thread... most accurate fuel gauge I've seen on any car... might make that old tech mod.
