Possible Tranny Prob. Please Help!!!!

I have an a/t tranny. When i park on a hill for about 2 hrs. or so and get in it and crank it up sometimes it acts like it doesnt want to crank but does. Then when I go to put it in gear it is really hard to pull into gear and it makes a rouch nosie almost like its stuck when I pull it out of park. I dk what this could be so if someone could give me some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S.: if you have any questions im me or send me a pm and i will respond, thanks

this is probably what happened. you parked on the hill and the car rolled while it was in "P" cuasing your tranny to jam. I dont know what are the long term effects of this but my dad does that sometimes. Im sure it doesnt help your tranny. to avoid this in the future, just park your car, before you shift into "P", shift into "N", then pull the handbrake and release pedal brake and let the car roll into the curb, then shift back into "P" when the car stops. Next time when you return to the car, the shifter wont be jammed.
