Brake light flashes on and off

Every once in awhile my brake light will flash on the dash board. Is this telling me something with my brakes are going bad? It only used to come on when I applied my e-brake but now it comes on at other times also. Please help if you can thanks

Cody

Have you looked at the brake fluid level ?? If you are between 40-60k miles you probably need front pads. Don't add fluid, when the pads are replaced the level will return.

make sure you also check for any leaks. When that light comes on, either you are low on fluid, or you have a leak somewhere. Or the sensor has a intermittent connection.

Pn0ybOiLiKehOy is on a distinguished road
or if you have a stiff ride a bump might cause the ebrake to bounce up and down

My arm is rest on the ebrake so I don't think its the e-brake. It is mostly when I press on the brake is when it comes on
