transmission noise please help

i have a 03 with a m/t
i have a really bad noise when the trans is in neutral and the clutch engaged?
the trans only has 72,000 on it

to me it sounds like a bad input shaft bearing. I know that with the clutch pedal fully depressed and the clutch disengaged, a bad pilot bearing can be heard. And a bad throwout bearing can be heard right after the free play point when the clutch pedal is depressed. right when the clutch fingers make contact with the throwout bearing. Someone else please confirm that for me.

it is the input shaft bearing, had it replaced under warranty last fall at 98,000 miles

might as well change your clutch disc while your clutch is out free labor
