Removing coins stuck behind the coin box

hi folks..
I can't seem to find a thread with this topic.. and it's strange, cuz it happens to me all the time...

anyways.. the problem is that some coins tend to fall behind the "coin box" (that little box on the left of the steering wheel to hold coins), and is preventing the box to close completely.

I tried kicking and hitting that area and some coins do fall from the back of the console, but I can still hear a few of them stuck behind there when I go over bumps.

anyone has this problem? whats your resolution to this? if someone actually has taking the thing apart to solve the problem, can u briefly explain how u do it? cuz I tried to do it.. but the clip is pretty long for me to just pull it out.

thanks.

that piece is called a dashboard pocket and to remove it open the pocket and remove the screw right there in the middle. First you need to remove the drivers dashboard undercover but turning those 2 plastic screws and removing it. then from behind the dashboard, push the pocket back by hand to release the clips. then release the hooks. and if equipped, disconnect the moonroof and crusie control switches and remove that whole assembly.

well you can either take it apart and get the coins out, or to solve that prob a lil easier , find somewhere else to put coins.. i put them somewhere in the middle or in the cup holder

yeah.. but I still have to get the coins out. I'll see if I can mod it so it wouldn't fall back.
