Coin box?
02 LX, 4-door, Canadian
On the left side of the driver's, there's a coin box (or ash tray??) just beneath the heated mirrors and cruise switches. It doesn't stay close.
Something broken? Clip?

That piece is called a dashboard pocket. I would say to remove the whole assembly and see if anything is broken. I am not sure what it uses to keep the pocket closed, but if it isnt working properly, you may need to replace the whole assembly.
