Magnaflow Installed!!!!

edit: See Question on #7....

Just finished my install. Boy did it take foerever. Its not a hard install, but the bolts were so old and rusted that you needed to be the hulk to get them things off. The main thing that took forever was that the stock resonator and muffler were rusted together so tight I was thinking about cutting the pipe until it finally came apart very greasely I might add. (extra 20min) Then right when things were looking good the freakin right bolt from the piping to the stock header broke off. At that moment Im like ooooo . So after a trip to the auto store were we picked up some bolt extraction bits it was back to work. Then it took like 30min to drill the thing because we had a bad angle and werent working with much clearance. Eventually the screw broke off (3 drill bits later that is) and we drilled straight through the mounting bracket which didnt take too much damage in the attempt. It got an extra mm or so on a small portion of it but thats about it. (1.5hrs added) So we mounted everything up, im going to head to honda to get some more screws for were the header and piping connect because mine arent worth keeping, unless someone can suggest another place. After all of that, 5hrs later, the thing is on, it sounds pretty good, smoked a hell of a lot, only problem now is that the factory springs surronding the screws are so warped that they rattle like crazy(not as tight as they used to be) when you rev up and it makes this weird sound like the engine is burping. I drove it down the road seems to sound good.
So does anyone have any advice for me after all of that ... much feedback would be appreciated.

Btw: Is the engine (around the header) suppose to smoke as well as the exhaust, cuz mine did a lil, the exhaust did a lot.

Another question, was i supposed to remove the adaptor piece that sits between the stock piping and the header assembly. I did if you wanted to know, but the thing wouldnt fit with it on, it fits snug and exactly without it.

LX Exhaust install QUESTION....HELP PLEASE

Okay I got my exhaust installed and im so paranoid I think somethings going to snap off when im just driving. Someone said I should weld the midpipe, so I've already looked into that and whenever I get some time im going to do that. The only other question that is killing me to know the answer too is if removing the circular adaptor piece on that helped mount the stock exhaust was correct. In the DIY's and even the instructions it doesnt mention this piece, but when I removed the factory exhaust the header had a circular adaptor piece on the mounting point. Trying to place the MAG's mounting pipe over it proved to be impossible, at least from my perspective. So the question is, was it right to remove it? When I removed it, it fitted just fine and screwed down with no problem. So please someone answer me, did I do it right when I removed that piece? (I can get you a pic if you need it)...and i did search, but i found no mention of this piece.
