Blown fuse?
Alright .. first up let's just clear the air and say that I'm a true newbie when it comes to working on a car. Now to get to the heat of the issue;
I was trying to redo a fog light switch from non-lighted to lighted. I believe I had wired the switch properly but apparently I didn't. As soon as I flipped the switch to test, the interior died.
To my best guess I blew a fuse -
Now I assume it was my ignition coil fuse, seeing as how the shop wired the fogs to my ignition. (Why do you ask the shop wired the fogs but I'm wiring the switch?? Well because the eBay switch was/is garbage and it was removed. In its place there was a non-lit switch, but I wanted some lighting for the switch)
Now the problem is, I switched the ignition coil fuse (15A) and yes it did looked cooked (brown/burnt prongs). However, it did not solve my problem. The car is still dead. There is power from the battery - as I can still turn my interior lights on, as well as my hazards and headlights on, power locks work too .. What doesn't work is my dash, getting the car to turn over, radio, cruise button, power windows, alarm/remote entry, and switches for my heated seats (which tells me the cigarette lighter doesn't work). I've tried pulling all the fuses (and replacing those 15A that I have extras for) but well nothing works..
What am I doing wrong and/or missing? Please help as well its my daily driver of course and well I need her tomorrow at the latest

After you replaced the ignition coil fuse, did you again try and turn on that switch? If you did, you probably blew that fuse again. Which means you hooked something up wrong. Turn off the switch, and remove the wiring from it. Now go check the ignition coil fuse again, is it blown? If it is, replace it and now try and start the car.
Now as for the interior, first see if what I said above fixes everything. Otherwise, go through each fuse and see if any others are blown. check fuses in the under hood fuse box and the fuse box under the dash. You also have another ignition fuse under the hood, check that one. You dont need to pull them to check, turn the key on and use a DMM and check to see if you have 12 volts on each side of the fuse. if one shows 12 volts on 1 side and 0 on the other, that fuse is blown. It kinda sounds like a bad ground since everything in your car is not working, but not too sure.
Not sure what else to tell you. Someone else might have a better response, but I would start there. If you keep flipping that switch, you will keep blowing fuse if it was hooked up improperly.

The first thing I did was undo my wiring as I didn't want a repeat. As I'm blind I guess, mind pointing out which fuse under the hood would be the other ignition coil fuse?
Guess its time to get/borrow a digital multimeter..

Now after you undid the wiring, did you look again at the fuse you replace to see if it didnt blow again?
