Angry Transmision Noise

Can somebody tell me whats wrong with my civic, my car was making a weird banging noise in the transmision but the noise will go away if I step on the clutch but if I take it out I will make it again. The thing is that I replace the clutch with a brand new clutch kit and still doing the noise what it can be?

sounds like you need a pilot bearing and you didnt change it when you did the clutch.

I used to have a problem in 1st and 2nd gear, sounded like something was flying around in there like a bug, it was only while in low rpms. It went away though.

that sounds like what happened to my car... 'cept the sound also goes away if I press on the gas. I dunno what it is, since my car is still in the shop do to an accident. I'm hoping it is just a rubbing sound from the accident.

But hopefully what you have isn't serious, because I think my car has the same problem now :-(

I got that same noise, the dealership is being aholes about it though, they had a "honda Adjuster" look a t my car and take pics. They still don't know what it is but think its a clutch plate disintergrating. Have to wait for word from honda. Just remem ber federal magnusson warranty act if they try to ---- you with your warranty. THe law is on your side.
