Talking Power window question...

I just bought an 04 with 24K on it. I've searched around this site for a while now and found most of the answers to my questions (not a noob to forums, had a sweet lightning but sold it because of the mpg...) Anyway, dreading the "use the search button" flame I took my time...here's what I can't find, or it's buried under tons of stuff. My pass widow kinda shifts around as it goes down for the first 10" or so, it makes the whole door kinda shudder...it's under warranty of course, but if this is a common problem I want to go in knowing that. BTW, hey everyone!

not really. check to see if the window is aligned correctly. i have 37k on my 04 and my window started doing that on tuesday. I looked at the window and the window kinda came out of those two rubber things its suppose to be in between. I just took a flat head screw driver and realigned. took like 2secs.

i have the same problem. it happened rite after i got tint. not sure if that's the reason because the passenger side window didn't have a problem. anywaz i tried aligning it first. and i got it to roll up rite but then when i rolled it down and rolled it back up it becomes unaligned again. the window tilts to the point where it looks lik it'll fall out. not sure what to do. i even took of the side panel to see what wrongs. the window definitely becomes unaligned but whenever i fix it and roll it down and up again it becomes tilts again. what should i do?

i had the same problem, but i'm not sure if it was a manufacturing defect or because someone stuck a slim jim in it to break into my car. it was getting worse and it seemed like it was coming out of the track. but then i got broken into a second time and this time they threw a brick through the window. so when i got the window replaced, i stopped having the problem. this may not be the most helpful post...but welcome. lol.

SOmething is off track, either take it apart your self with the helm to find out what is wrong, or take it take it somewhere, the windows should roll smoothly.

Now I dont know if this will help or not, but there is a TSB out right now for any of the windows rolling down slowly. Mine did it too on the passenger side. it would roll down halfway fine, then go the rest of the way really slowly. same when going up, it would go slow up to the middle and fast the rest of the way. At first I had it at the dealer because the car is under warranty and they replaced the regulator, but the window still did it. I then saw the TSB which states that the run channel in the door might not be set in the metal bracket correctly and to reposition it in there. So I took the door panel off and sure enough the run channel wasnt even connected to the metal bracket at the bottom, so I shoved it back in and the window now works fine. SO I would check that first.
