i dunno, probably something with your axles or something. if its under warranty (should be), just take it in and have them check it out

Bad news , I hit a pot whole in the road .. my tire flattened and now the car has a very loud popping/clicking noise when I turn. I'm going to call dealer on monday.

This should be covered by warranty right?

my guess, you need new drive axles. Always indicated by popping noises when turning.

cv joints... Drive axles don't make the clicking sound.

half shafts, drive axles, CV joints, or CV axles, they are all the same thing. On as front wheel drive vehicle, they are considered the drive axles because they drive the front wheels. Inside of them are Constant velocity joints (CV joints).

I had a clicking noise when turning right on my 02 EX Coupe. It turned out to be a transmission issue with the reverse idler gear and the 1st and 2nd gear syncros; there's a TSB for it (03-009). But that TSB was for 2001-2003 civics. Either way take it to the dealer and they should fix it.

I had this clicking issue. Mine had to do with my front passenger side shocks.

Wheel bearing.

They replaced mine in my 04 when it had maybe 9k miles.

I have a popping noise on my 01 lx coupe when turning the wheel from side to side but not just when moving like with cv axles. It does it really badly when pulling in or out of steep driveways. I found a tsb on alldata for bad compliance bushings in the lower front control arms. The car has 74k on it so warranty is out of the question. Is there anyone out there that has had a similar problem? I had a coworker turn the wheel and I listened to the strut, mount, and bearing with a stethascope and couldn't hear anything out of them, Also has anyone replace their bushings with polyurethane one and if so does the energy susp. kit come with both lower cont. arm bushings? Thanks ahead for any help.

Hey Rocket,

Did Honda ever fix this for you? I have the same exact noises, but I did not hit a pothole.

Thank you.
