Brake oil

03 civic with 35000 miles on it. i havent changed the brake oil and would like to change it. what oil you would prefer ? its DOT 3. any specific brand ?

honda oem? just go to your local honda dealer...they're good if you don't do anything strange with ur car...lol

I hope you realize changing brake fluid isnt like changing oil, you have to bleed the brakes, or flush them. it isnt just a matter of replacing the fluid in the resovoir.

Come on man, dont you know all the pro's use motor oil. The oil fill cap says 5w20 right? So why not use that on the brakes too, just fill that master cylinder right to the top, should take about a quart, also its always a good idea to top off the clutch master cylinder too if its a manual, also fill up the washer fluid and coolant while your at it.
