Powerful brakes
Powerful brakes
I know that honda has less powerful brakes than others,(Nissan). Is it possible to upgrade the caliper, which has two pistons ? will this make the breaks more powerful than current. Or what is the other way of doing this ? please advise.

Honda's have allways had a soft pedal feel.. but that doesn't mean the brakes are weak. it just means they feel different from other companys.
The quickest and cheapest way of upgrading your brakes would be new pads, like EBC greenstuff, and new fluid with a higher boiling point than stock. I prefer ATE Super Blue. Makes a noticable difference and costs way less than rear disc conversion or bigger wheels/tires.

rear disc doesn't really help improve braking distant much since most braking power comes from the front...
also tires are what stops you on the road, if your tires doesn't grip, then even the biggest brake in the world can't help you. think of it as like driving on ice... even if all your wheel stop spinning but your tires can't grip, your car still moves...

proper rear brake adjustment and a performance front brake pad of your choice will improve pedal feel and braking performance. But when you get your brakes to work that much better then your tires come into question if they can hold traction and not skid. Your cars will only stop as fast as your tires will allow.
Inertia is a very powerful force. I was thinking about upgrading to Power Slot Rotor w/ Hawk Pads. Are they a good set up? How big of a diference in terms of braking power will one feel after?
