ok, I ran over a curb (long story) and now one of the 10a fuses keeps popping in the fuse box underneath my steering wheel. The first time it blew was yesterday and my whole car shut off ... I pulled over to the side...
I was able to start my car again, but the battery light stayed on and my speedometer doesn't work ... also, my gas gauge goes crazy ... it'll goto low fuel, then 1/4 tank and just jump around. my friend found out that it was a fuse below my steering wheel (bottom row, four fuses from the left ... 10a fuse) and today it blew up again like a couple min after starting my car ...
can someone shed some light as to what is wrong?

How does running over a curb have to do with blowing fuses? What kind of damage occured?
Stick your D(ick in the tail pipe and see if the fuse blows again....
Maybe the speed sensor went bad. Someone posted that it will blow the fuse and cause this problem. Check the wires UNDER the car, see if any got snagged.
flots: I don't know ... it wasn't a big curb
viper: you =
tin: will do ... I don't see how that would blow the fuse though

alright, I just checked out my engine bay ...
the primary o2 sensor was touching the header ... I pulled it off and it (obviously) ate through to the wire ... that was probably shorting something ...
I hope that's the problem ...
