Brake Fluid Low

just did an oil change and noticed my brake fluid is sort of low. i have about 25k miles by the way. The manual says to replace the brake fluid every 3 years but it has only been 2 years for me. So do I just go to any autoparts store, buy some DOT3 fluid and just fill it up? I did a search and it came up with a lot of posts about bleeding the brake fluids. There is no need to bleed and replace the brake fluid right?

don't be surpised if you need a brake job soon...fluid down usually means pads are wearing, this is normal. But you may want to have a peek at those front pads....

In your owners manual there's a complete detailed discription on topping off your brake fluid, and when to replace it.
