Hey all, for the past month I have been having a problem with my overhead lights not automatically coming on when I open my drivers side door, and if it is triggered by the passenger door opening, then it doesn't work for that either. I did the usual, checked all the fuses, and all of them are fine. I double checked to make sure that the switch in the front overhead light was in the middle. I have a 2001 EX if it makes a difference. Anyways, what could be the problem with my overhead lights coming on automatically? I would appreciate the help. Thanks.

Well thanks very much, the overwhelming feedback I got on this matter really helped me in fixing the problem. But anyways, I took the front light out after I realized that it was being held in by two screws and saw that the harness connector or whatever was half way unplugged. I am guessing that over the years my subwoofers rattled it loose or something.

Did you put the light switch in the middle, or was it all the way off? It should just have to be between the always off and always on, where it only comes on when the door is open. Seems like you found another prob though, glad you fixed it.
