Unhappy Malfunction Light

ok. so i got in my car in the morning and while driving i realized a light was on on the dash. I looked it up in the owners manual and its the Malfunction light. It says that it could be the gas cap or some emissions thing. well my car has only 10 000 kms on it and the last time i filled up on gas was like 4 days ago. all i have under the hood thats not oem is an intake. Do i just take it to the dealer? will they charge me to fix it and not cover it under warranty because of the intake?

thanks

Check the gas cap first. It may not be tight.

If you DO take it to the dealer, put the stock intake on. Why even open yourself up for the old "It's not covered, you modified the car" BS.

Would they really hassle me for that? I thought there was a law that states they must have proof that the intake screwed up the car... could be wrong...
